My vote is for Alpha Centauri. I love it, love it, love it! Love the sci-fi theme, love the gameplay, love the factions, love the customization.

Ahhh, so many choices. I guess my favorite turn-based strategy game would, of course, have to be Alpha Centauri. Depending on the day of the week, my favorite RTS is either WarCraft III or Rise of Nations.

Alpha Centauri with Alien Crossfire. Custom factions make for a better experience all around.

Oh, yeah, how can we forget about the custom factions?! A fun thing to do: take people from work who really peave you off and turn them into evil faction leaders who say things like: "Didn't you get the memo?" and "Have it on my desk by Monday." It's really fun to smite them.

I always enjoyed Alpha Centauri.
